Frequently Asked Questions and Answers After The Postponement Decision

Yes, all already booked services and contracts remain valid for the time being when you attend the new event date.

  1. When will WIN EURASIA 2020 take place? 

    WIN 2020 will take place from 18 - 21 June 2020.

  2. Why is WIN EURASIA being postponed at short notice? 

    We have held discussions with numerous exhibitors from WIN EURASIA 2020 – both in Turkey and abroad – and now have a good understanding of the overall mood. Almost all the exhibitors, visitors and partners stated that they support the staging of WIN later in 2020; only a small number of companies asked us not to postpone the event.

    Airlines have cancelled numerous flights between Turkey, Iran, Italy, and mainland China. In addition, many companies are currently introducing travel and meeting restrictions as well as updating their sick leave regulations. For these reasons, many trade visitors from in- and outside of Turkey requested the postponement and many industrial associations in Turkey also supported this decision. The health of our exhibitors, partners, visitors, and employees is always our top priority. Although there were no cases of the novel Corona Virus (COVID-19/Sars-CoV-2) in Turkey when we have decided to postpone, but it was understood that the decision made afterwards was accurate.

    After close consultation with our supporting associations and exhibitors as well as visitors, we have decided to postpone WIN EURASIA 2020. The new date is 18–21 June 2020 at the Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center.

  3. What safety precautions will be taken at the next events?

    Hannover Fairs Turkey will implement all safety precautions which are necessary for the trade show in June. At present, it will be possible to hold the trade fair in June without any restrictions.

  4. I just read that the fair is being postponed, what's going to happen now?

    First of all, all those involved will be informed, your usual contacts will be available to answer any questions you may have and will be happy to assist you in postponing your participation in the fair. 
    Basically, WIN will be postponed to June as currently planned. Hall occupancy, assured stands, sponsorship opportunities and the supporting program will take place as far as possible as planned, but in June.

  5. Will the previously received entrance badges and VIP cards be valid on June 18-21?

    Yes, all badges are already taken valid.

  6. Will my contract with WIN EURASIA continue for the new date?

    In accordance with clause 33 of the Conditions of Participation WIN 2020, which you accepted whilst signing the contract, the existing contract with you will remain in force for the new event period.

  7. Momentarily payment terms expire, will they be postponed, or do we have to pay now?

    Please assume that the payment terms originally stated remain valid and plan your payments accordingly.

  8. Will existing contracts and booked services remain valid?
  9. I am an exhibitor and will participate in the new event date. Will the stand area I know remain the same?

    Due to a change in participation behavior, relocation may be necessary. In this case we will contact you in due time.

  10. Will the price of the stand space or services change for the new date?

    As things stand today, the price of the stand space or services you have already booked will not change.

  11. Will Hannover Fairs Turkey reimburse us for costs for services booked with third parties (e.g. catering, travel/accommodation, visas, transportation etc.)

    No, services ordered from third parties are based exclusively on the relationship between the parties who have concluded the contract. Hannover Fairs Turkey will not reimburse any costs in this respect.

  12. I am an exhibitor, what happens to services I ordered via the Hannover Fairs Turkey OBS?

    If you ordered services from Hannover Fairs Turkey and are attending the new event, nothing will change, subject to the availability of the service partner commissioned by Hannover Fairs Turkey.
    If you wish to make any changes to your appearance, you can adjust your orders in the Hannover Fairs Turkey OBS at any time to suit your requirements. Should a change in placement occur, the orders you have booked will remain valid and can be adjusted to meet the new requirements. In the event of a change of location, please note that the new location could result in changes, particularly regarding technical services such as ceiling suspensions, power, water or compressed air connections. Our service team will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
